With the INCONTOURNABLES : breeders of American bison at the Randals farm
Installed in 1991 on the Randals farm, on the sandstone plateau the Causse Noir, we have made the choice to live in a wonderful and wild countryside on the edge of the national park of the Cévennes.
The Causse Noir, just like its neighbour the Causse of the Larzac, are part of the vast plateaux areas South of the Massif Central, and well known for the production of the famous Roquefort cheese.
This region is quite particular : it is the only area in Occidental Europe to have the climate and relief of the steppes. The population density is one inhabitant per km² (against 100 for the french average).
We began our breeding activity with the production of meat but very quickly we developed touristic activities on our ranch.
Since 1999 we also raise american nursing cows.
With the Incontournables we welcome you to spend some time on our farm to discover our american bisons and our other activities.
